Today the children were all excited to meet the 8 day old chicks that came to see us. We counted out 5 chicks as they were placed in the little enclosure and the children took care to stroke them gently.
Some of our older children joined Alison Chapman from the community litter picking team to go litter picking in the village. The children were skilled in using the grabbers and learnt about the different types of rubbish and which bins should be used.
