All of the children who attend our Thursday morning session were joined by their mummy or a grandparent as we celebrated Mother's Day with a special lunch. It was great to see everyone enjoying the sunshine and the food.
With special thanks to one of our mummy's for the amazing cup cakes.
The children celebrated Easter by sharing the story and the Rev Faith also came to visit to share with the children. We have been thinking about new life and the spring time too.
On Thursday 3rd April we visited Lavenham Church. The children were excited to travel on Chambers Bus and looked at and observed the countryside and animals from the upstairs windows. The Rev Canon Simon Pitcher welcomed us all and told the children the story of Noah's Ark. We observed the amazing stained glass windows and took in the atmosphere and structure of the different parts of the church. Some of the staff were fortunate enough to take turns at ringing the bells from the top of the tower.
Music session at The Village Hall for Acton residents of all ages....
Some of our children, along with Kim and Jo attended the music and singing session provided by Sinfonia Viva. The children were very engaged with the enthusiastic teaching style from the musicians. Jo had a great time on the Vibraphone.
